For years, we ran a growing digital agency with a patchwork of tools that never worked together. Tasks lived in one place, client passwords in another, leave requests in a chat thread, and laptop monitoring required yet another tool we had to manage.

We looked for something that could pull it all into one place. Something built specifically for how agencies actually operate, not a watered-down enterprise tool, not another project tracker, but a real agency management system. It didn’t exist.

So in July 2026, we built AlignHub for ourselves. Today, it supports IT agencies, IT companies, and marketing agencies with contact management, lead tracking, sales pipelines, deal management, and CRM reporting coming soon.

While Jigar was improving the credential logins, I was syncing team schedules, monitoring company laptops, chasing down credential security gaps, and keeping deliverables moving across a team that was growing faster than the systems meant to support it. Since there were no tools built for this, we decided to build our own.

The Bigger We Got, the Harder It Got.

In the early days, we made it work. Work assignments were sent out via a tool. Client credentials lived in a shared spreadsheet that everyone had bookmarked. Leave was approved in a group chat. Company laptops and assets were tracked separately, usually through spreadsheets or manual updates.

Nobody loved the system. But it was manageable because the team was small enough that we rarely missed anything for long.

Then we grew. And everything that was barely holding together started coming apart.

Missed task handoffs. A client credential shared over the wrong channel. Two team members were on leave the same week with no one noticing until a deadline was already in danger. A company laptop changed hands without the asset records being updated.

The informal workarounds that got us through Year One were quietly becoming the biggest bottleneck in Year Three.

In July 2026, we deployed AlignHub as our connected agency management system. For the first time, tasks, credentials, assets, HR records, leave tracking, attendance, and laptop monitoring all lived in one workspace instead of being scattered across multiple tools.

That’s still how we run things today. And we’re expanding AlignHub into a full all-in-one CRM, with contact management, lead tracking, pipelines, deal management, and CRM reporting coming soon.

More Tools Didn't Mean More Control.

Our first instinct, like that of most growing agencies, was to add more tools.

Something better for task tracking. A dedicated credential manager. A proper HR management software to handle leave without relying on group chats. Each one solved the problem it was bought for. And each one quietly made everything else harder.

At one point, we counted how many platforms our team touched in a single workday just to do their jobs. It was six. Six different logins, six different interfaces, six different places where information could and did regularly get lost.

The credential manager had no connection to HR. Leave approvals happened in one system but had to be manually reflected in another. Managers had to open five tabs to get close to understanding the full picture of the agency on any given day, and even then, the picture was never quite complete.

Every time we plugged one gap, two more appeared around it. We weren’t building a system. We were building a workaround on top of another workaround.

That’s when we stopped adding tools. And started asking a different question entirely.

Instead of inventing features in a boardroom, every module in our agency management system was born out of real operational challenges we solved inside our growing agency.
